Manage drilling operations to achieve production targets while prioritizing safety and
environmental stewardship.
Direct and supervise drilling personnel, including drillers, derrickhands, roughnecks,
and other crew members.
Coordinate with engineering and technical teams to optimize drilling processes and
equipment performance.
Implement and enforce safety procedures to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
Monitor drilling parameters and performance metrics to identify opportunities for
improvement and efficiency gains.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain departments to ensure timely delivery of
equipment, materials, and supplies to the rig.
Liaise with regulatory agencies and compliance officers to ensure adherence to industry
regulations and standards.
Prepare and present reports on drilling activities, performance metrics, and operational
challenges to senior management.
Proficiency in safety management systems and industry regulations (e.g., API, ISO,
OSHA).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a remote, offshore environment for extended periods.
Certifications in well control and HSE management systems are desirable.
